The elevated exterior styling stands out from any angle, whether viewed from the front or rear. The front fascia features a distinctive Mazda-esque gloss black mesh front grille with chrome trim, slim horizontal LED headlights that feature auto on/off and high beam control functions, plus LED daytime running lights.
A side-on view reveals powered, body-colored heated, automatic-folding side mirrors with integrated LED turn signals and auto-dimming on the driver's side. The bright-finished front, side, and rear lower body trim, along with black side molding and wheel arch moldings, all serve to protect the CX-90 from life's annoying little mishaps.
A generous feature count includes convenient rain-sensing variable-intermittent windshield wipers and, at the rear, an intermittent rear wiper/washer, a windshield wiper de-icer, plus stylish shark fin antennae.
Luxury items include a power sliding-glass moonroof with a tilt feature, a rear power liftgate with programmable height adjustment, rear privacy glass, LED combination tail lights, and satin chrome-finished aluminum roof rails.
A PHEV fender badge distinguishes the hybrid models from their gasoline-only CX-90 siblings, while other exterior features include an AWD badge and 21-inch x 9.5J aluminum alloy wheels with a machine-cut finish, wrapped in P275/45 R21 all-season tires.
The Premium Plus is available in a choice of eight exterior colors, some of which come with an extra charge.

A 68 kW e-SKYACTIV PHEV motor powered by a 17.8-kWh Lithium-ion battery ups the total power output to 323 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and torque of 369 pound-feet @ 4,000 rpm.
The 2025 CX-90 PHEV Premium Plus is fitted with a PHEV e-SKYACTIV-Drive 8-speed automatic transmission featuring a manual shift function to send drive to all four corners via Mazda's new rear-biased i-ACTIV AWD system.
